At Outpost Summer Camp, Senior Counselors lead their groups in the daily activities. With a sense of adventure and boundless enthusiasm, these counselors inspire the memories campers treasure for a lifetime. Group counselors are sensitive to campers needs and are excellent decision makers, are open to feedback and guidance from their directors and come to work each day with a smile! Our 9-week camp program operates from June 23, 2008 to August 22, 2008. All Senior Counselors are required to work the full summer, OR the first six weeks only, plus a mandatory, intensive one week training prior to the first day of camp. In addition, all Senior Counselors are required to complete First Aid and CPR certification prior to the summer. OSC offers a course for staff to complete this requirement prior to training, but recommends that staff complete this First Aid and CPR training in the spring. |
| Senior counselors also must be willing to obtain a California Class B Commercial Drivers License (this requires a perfect driving record).
