At Outpost Summer Camp, Senior Counselors lead their groups in the daily activities. With a sense of adventure and boundless enthusiasm, these counselors inspire the memories campers treasure for a lifetime. Group counselors are sensitive to campers needs and are excellent decision makers, are open to feedback and guidance from their directors and come to work each day with a smile! Our camp programs run from June 21, 2010 to August 20, 2010. We have positions for Senior Counselors for the full 9-week summer, and a few positions for the first five or six weeks (Sessions One/Two of Pre Camp as well as Day Camp). Prior to June 21 is a mandatory, intensive one week training beginning Saturday, June 12, 2010. In addition, all Senior Counselors are required to complete First Aid and CPR certification prior to the summer. OSC offers a course for staff to complete this requirement prior to training, but recommends that staff complete this First Aid and CPR training in the spring. |
| Most of our Senior Counselors also must be willing to obtain a California Class B Commercial Drivers License (this requires a perfect driving record). Outpost Summer Camps provides the training for this requirement prior to the summer. For more information about Outpost Summer Camps' Transportation Program, click here. In addition to your basic contact information, you will need to provide a detailed employment history, three references, and fill out a few "essay" answers. Most applicants complete the process in about 15 minutes. If you have any questions about this process - contact us. You will receive a call from one of our directors as soon as possible. |
