At Outpost Summer Camps, your day begins with the friendly "Toot Toot" of the Outpost Express. Your driver smiles and greets you by name as you and the other campers in your neighborhood climb on the van. Everyone starts singing camp songs and your van's Junior Counselor soon starts a scavenger hunt to find things outside the van! |
| When you get to camp, you see that many of your friends from your group are already sitting on the logs with your Counselors. It's time for Morning Campfire and a silly game of Blitz! As you answer trivia, perform tricks, sing songs and watch the skits that start out the day, you can't help wondering what adventures lay ahead for you and your group, The "Hawaiian Lions"! |

After Campfire, the Hawaiian Lions gather up for a round of Capture the Flag against another group, The Braggin' Dragons. Your team rallies together, cheering each other on, and devising secret strategies to seize the other group's prized flag. Soon after the game, your Counselor tells you the legend of the mystical “Leaf People” and places the map to their hideout in your hands. With the other Hawaiian Lions, you set off into the Wilderness to find their sneaky escape. |
| Not far along the trail, another Hawaiian Lion notices something fishy. It seems another group has made a Fort in a shady hollow beneath a Sycamore. Very cautiously your group tip toes through the fort looking carefully for the group's hidden flag. You think of the Hawaiian Lions' fort and the places you thought of hiding your own group's flag when it occurs to you… voila! You discover the flag carefully hidden under pile of fallen sticks and branches! This is a great discovery for the Hawaiian Lions and the group is still celebrating as they head back on the trail to the Leaf People’s hideout. | ![]() |

Just before you get to the hideout, you see a familiar face, it's Raccoon Rebecca! She shows your group how to make plaster casts of real Deer Tracks discovered in the trail. You and your friends have a great time filling each track and stringing it on twine to make a necklace. Once each Lion has made a necklace, your counselors gather the group with a quick rally cry and you set off once more for the Leaf People’s hideout. |
| The hideout is amazing! There are lots of neat rooms and paths that the Leaf People have carved out and it looks like they’ve left treats just for the Hawaiian Lions! You sit down in a circle to hear more about their hijinx and enjoy lunch with your friends. After lunch next your group stumbles upon a stream, and you help some of the other kids in your group build a dam of sticks and mud. When it's just high enough the river washes it out again and you decide it's time to head back to camp. | ![]() |

Once you get back to camp, it's straight to the van and off to the Ol' Swimmin' Hole. You have a choice today between playing with your friends and counselors in a big game of Sharks and Minnows or swimming the seven more laps you need to earn your Orca badge. You decide to work on your laps because you hope to have the most in all of camp. |
| After Pool, it's time for Afternoon Campfire. Your counselor calls your group up to boast about your amazing adventurous day and reveal to the Braggin' Dragons that you discovered their secret flag! They offer to bring your group watermelon as a reward for its return. | ![]() |

You still can't believe what a great day it has been for you and your friends as you climb aboard the Outpost Express. You know you'll have a good time on the van ride home, sharing stories with the campers from other groups. When the van gets to your house and it's time to say goodbye, you can't wait to tell your family about your exciting day and are even more thrilled to come back for more adventures tomorrow! |
